Global Spectrum, managers of University of Phoenix Stadium, in conjunction with Alaska Events, announced on Sunday, August 1, that plans to host the Maricopa County Home & Garden Show, August 6-8, 2010, are moving forward as scheduled.  Repair work on the facility’s roof continues and officials do not anticipate any change to the stadium’s event schedule.

Attend the BIG Maricopa County Home & Garden Show for "one-stop home improvement shopping" at its best. Shop, Compare and Save with over 1000 exhibits filled with hundreds of the Valley's most reputable companies all competing for your business and offering thousands of products and services for all of your home improvement needs. As always, the Maricopa County Home & Garden Show screens every exhibiting company through the Arizona State Registrar of Contractors and the Better Business Bureau of Northern and Central Arizona.

Helpful tips to make the Home Show a successful shopping experience for you:

• Make a list of the projects or products that you are interested in for your home or garden.
• Pick up the Show Program at the gated entrance.  The vendor directory will help you narrow down the exhibitors that will be the most important to you.
• Attend a FREE seminars. Take advantage of the free education and tips you can receive provided by people who know how to design, build, maintain or fix just that thing you want to tackle.
• Don't be afraid to talk to exhibitors about your project needs.
• Bring any important information about your projects with you, like plans, measurements, small samples or sketches.
• There are both indoor and outdoor exhibits (depending on the location), so dress accordingly. Wear comfortable shoes, and plan on spending the whole day.
• There are NO wheelchair or stroller rentals, please plan accordingly.
