(Glendale, Ariz. – May 27, 2010) Global Spectrum, managers of University of Phoenix Stadium, announced today that a record number of High School graduations, nineteen, will take place at the multi-purpose stadium during the month of May 2010.
The nineteen ceremonies are expected to draw over 100,000 attendees to the stadium from numerous school districts throughout the valley. Approximately 8,200 students will graduate at the facility and over 92,000 guests will be in attendance.
“Each year we have increased the number of graduations held at the facility. We feel this is a testament to the convenience, affordability, and service provided by the stadium and our staff. Our ability to host multiple ceremonies on the same day, in a climate controlled environment, is very appealing to school administrators and we continue to receive inquires from other school districts for future years”, Stated Peter C. Sullivan, General Manager for Global Spectrum at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
In addition to the nineteen High School ceremonies, the University of Phoenix Stadium will also play host to four college graduations, bringing the total number to 24 this year.
